Our blood donation program is one of our most recognized and awarded permanent projects. It is well known that there is a shortage of donated blood and thus many people in dire need for it face great difficulty and harassment in some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. This program is our way of lending them a helping hand. We conduct blood donation camps on a monthly basis in various blood banks, schools and colleges, and so far our events have been quite successful. We aim to take our program one step further and create an online database of blood donors, their blood group and their contact information. Our aim is to make our database publicly available and thus reduce the time taken to find a suitable blood donor, especially for rare blood groups. Hopefully our database will be able to save critical time in emergency situations and help save lives.
